Kristine
Moore is a stay-at-home mom to her toddler son, Joshua. She has been happily
married to Jeffrey for thirteen years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in education
From Baylor University and has taught regular and special education, gifted and
talented, and has privately tutored. At
different seasons in her life she has lead adult and youth Bible studies and
sang in a praise team. In her spare time, she can be found singing praise
songs, reading, gardening, drawing, and playing with her son.
However, deep
down, she is a little child: God’s “Little One” who gets weary playing an
adult! A child whose eyes glow when she shares about her Jesus. One who is
passionate for other women to know Him on a deeper level of intimacy and
experience His realness. One who desires that she and others live life as the
joyful adventure that Jesus meant it to be.
Years ago, Kristine believed that
her love for Jesus was gone, and out of that desperate admission He spoke and
gave her the assurance that there was a spark of flame left and He would fan it
into a fire for Himself. Out of that dialogue, the “Children of the Burning
Heart” series was born. This series of devotionals--conversations between
“Little One” and her “Papa”-- was the catalyst that opened her eyes to see the
Jesus she always suspected Him to be: incredibly tender, gloriously vast, and
even a bit wild! With these incredible conversations, He also gave her the
ability to draw pictures summing up the lesson learned. Over her lifetime of
difficult relationships, struggling with depression, and two heartbreaking miscarriages,
the talks with her Lord have grouped themselves into three “books”. Then about
three years ago, unbelievably, God whispered “Get ready!” He was calling her to
lead retreats based on these books in order that other women might know Him and
live victoriously.
Kristine’s
dream for these retreats is to:
1. allow God to open women’s eyes to see Him as He truly is.
2. help women to move from life’s disillusionment and lies to being
equipped to walk powerfully with and in Him as His daughters
3. provide the
time and space for definite communication to occur with Jesus through her speaking testimony, devotionals that would
be available during free time, and through the drawings.
4. encourage women to embrace the child-life we are called to by Jesus
who Himself was content to be a child to His Father.
5. impress the urgency that He is coming soon for us and to get serious
in putting Him first.
6. break the lies that hold women back and to sing of the precious Truth
Kristine is also learning to
embrace the Holy spirit in the realm of prophecy by speaking Truth and Life
over women and children, calling forth their Belovedness and bringing them to
the Throne Room.In this current season,
God is calling her and her family to minister in Africa by healing wounds caused
by an orphan spirit and embracing Africans into the family of God.
